Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SSW-SW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Waist high + Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
I sailed with everyone else at Shoreham, must have been 30-40 sailors. At
times way too busy, with conjestion in the centre zone, due to people and
kit and wood in the drink. But good to see so many out on New Years Eve. I
launched at 1pm with a 5.0m and stuck it out until 3ish, then switched down
to a 4m for a comfortable end. The small sail was much easier for riding
and backhand lip smashes. Changed boards to suit the wind speed.
On the down side today I got a major foot twist in the straps on one
off-the-lip, the cold kept it pain free for the rest of the session, but
I'll pay the price later. Excellent jumping and upwind riding today.
